Paddling, morning tea and a gentle cycling adventure for you to remember!!

Join our popular kayaking tour of Newcastle, enjoying the city views from the water. We’ll be using our double sea-kayaks which are very stable and comfortable; you’ll either paddle with a friend or another solo adventurer. When we rest on Horseshoe Beach, you’ll enjoy a refreshing morning tea before we make our return journey, exploring Honeysuckle Wharf and the marina precinct.  

Returning to our start location at Carrington, we will hop on one of our well maintained and comfortable mountain bikes for some more city exploring including venturing out to the end of Nobby’s breakwall. This section of the adventure will also include the opportunity to find somewhere for a quick lunch, a coffee or maybe a well-earned ice cream!

Your guide will provide all the paddling/cycling gear and instruction across the day to help you feel confident and supported. We do not provide e-bikes but the cycling is on flat paths with no road travel involved.

Minimum age of participants is 10 years old (must be accompanied by parent or guardian).

Get active and outdoors on Lake Macquarie with an adventure!

Come and join us for a leisurely paddle departing from Wangi Point boat ramp. After gearing up and going through a short safety briefing, we’ll venture our way across the lake to visit Swansea Channel, the sand islands and the surrounding bays.

Across the half-day session, we’ll paddle approximately 7-8 km and enjoy morning tea together along the way.

One of our favourite coastal walks!

This is a fantastic location for getting out and about. Our walk will take us from Catherine Hill Bay to explore the coastal trail and Moonie and Ghosties beaches. Along the way, we will stop for morning tea near an amazing cave and do a little exploration(subject to tide/sea state)

This a great way to see the outdoors and see a variety of coastal vegetation and birdlife! This circuit is roughly 8km in length and on a variety of walking terrain.

Join our circuit kayaking tour of the islands and channel at the mouth of Tuggerah Lake. We’ll be using our double sea-kayaks which are very stable and comfortable; you’ll either paddle with a friend or another solo adventurer as we check out the local birdlife. When we pause for a break, stretch  and chat, you’ll enjoy a refreshing morning tea before we continue our journey to finish at North Entrance Foreshore Reserve.

After a 30 minute lunch break and comfort stop, we will hop on one of our well maintained and comfortable mountain bikes for some easy riding through the bush on the new cycleway for about 4km. After securing the bikes, we will undertake a hike of about 1 hour on the very scenic Lillipilli Track. This well-maintained circuit track in Wyrrabolong National Park has some amazing coastal rainforest vegetation and offers views out over Tuggerah Lake and north to Canton Beach and Toukley. Back on our bikes, we will enjoy a leisurely ride south to our starting location.

An exhilarating walk in the Watagans forest!

This circuit walk starts with a walk into the rainforest with a gentle climb following a trail to a landmark arch before exploring beautiful Gap Creek. After a morning tea break, we will then return part way along our route before descending to enjoy some time at the base of Gap Creek Falls-a majestic drop of over 45m. The final climb back to the the start on a well defined track will certainly raise your pulse but also provide a great sense of achievement.

Come along for this adventure in this beautiful section of Watagans National Park, which is not often visited. We recommend a moderate level of fitness for this 6 km circuit and would encourage participants to wear sturdy footwear.

Explore and unwind along peaceful Dora Creek

Join us for a beautiful morning paddle along Dora Creek, one of the major tributaries to Lake Macquarie. Our circuit is approximately 8km in length; an excellent adventure for first-time paddlers or those wanting to improve their skills.

On our paddle, we’ll also be taking in the natural landforms and wildlife around us.

Come join us for some fun in the great outdoors with great company. There’ll even be time for a nice morning tea!

We provide all necessary kayaking and safety gear. Minimum age is 8 years old; please enquire if you have a child interested in joining.

Explore one of the Central Coast’s best kept secrets

Join this fantastic paddle at the southern end of the Central Coast, kayaking from Patonga. Our circuit is an excellent adventure for first-time or casual paddlers, as well as those wanting to improve their skills.

On our paddle, we provide all necessary kayaking and safety gear – we’ll even supply a nice morning tea!

An exhilarating walk in the Watagans forest!

This circuit walk starts with bang – an uphill section of road that is sure to get the blood pumping! We’ll descend into the rainforest, following a trail to a landmark arch before exploring beautiful Gap Creek. Climbing along the ridge through open forest, we’ll emerge onto a forestry road which we then follow to our starting location.

Come along for this adventure in this beautiful section of Watagans National Park, which is not often visited. We recommend a moderate level of fitness for this 6 km circuit and would encourage participants to wear sturdy footwear.

Explore one of Newcastle’s best trails

This is a fantastic return walk along the Yuelarbah trail, which forms part of The Great North Walk between Sydney and Newcastle. We will walk along sections of boardwalk, trail, beach and rock-platforms to keep things interesting. Arriving at Merewether Surf Club, we will take a short rest to enjoy a barista-made coffee or hot drink, while watching the surf. The return walk will take us back to our starting point. A great way to see the outdoors! We recommend moderate fitness for this 9km circuit. 

A fantastic morning of adventure, to get the adrenaline pumping! 

This is a great introductory event to abseiling, in a peaceful bush setting. If you’re new to abseiling or a bit nervous, this is the perfect session for you. Your qualified guide will provide all the safety gear and encouragement you need; across the session you’ll have 4-5 different descents to develop good technique and your confidence.
