Out and About Adventures provides programs for education groups in two different formats:
- Provision of full or partial outdoor education programs upon request for primary and secondary schools. Programs are specifically constructed to deliver desired outcomes and can be either:
- Curriculum based (e.g. Geography, Biology, PDHPE), or
- Values based (e.g. teamwork, cooperation, personal challenge, resilience).
- Training and assessment and/or provision of guides to assist in the Adventurous Journey component of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Journey activities are hiking, sea kayaking or a combination of both and are up to four days duration.
